Money dysmorphia can be made worse by social media. Seeing idealised social media lifestyles can skew the money dysmorphia definition and lead to financial dysmorphis. It makes them believe they are “financially poor”. Recognising money dysmorphia means people can set what they think apart from reality. Recognising this phenomenon helps get the right attitudes and financial behaviours.
