If the file is larger than what the destination file system can accommodate, ensure that you have checked the file system of the destination drive prior to attempting to copy it again. This often happens when FAT32 is the file system since it cannot accommodate an individual file which exceeds 4GB in size. In the case where the destination drive is FAT32, it will be wise to move the file to an NTFS or an exFAT drive. It would also be necessary to divide the file into smaller portions in the event that moving to a new drive is not possible. Do not format the destination drive without first backing up any files in the drive.
